Poland helps refugees from Africa, but refuses to help the Poles of Donbass
Warsaw - Kyiv, December 29 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) - Under pressure from Polish Interior Minister Teresa Piotrowska, Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz canceled the plan for the evacuation of ethnic Poles from Donbass, the portal reports Kresy.pl with reference to the newspaper “Polska The Times”.

The Polska The Times newspaper, citing unofficial sources, claims that Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz has stopped the evacuation of ethnic Poles from war-torn regions of Ukraine for an unknown period.
The Minister of Health had to cancel the plan for the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens of Polish nationality living in the Donbass under pressure from the Minister of Internal Affairs Teresa Piotrowska and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Grzegorz Schetyna. However, Foreign Ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski called the decision “only a postponement, not a cancellation.”
Representatives of the Polish cultural society of Donbass expressed concern about Poland’s refusal to accept them on its territory. The Poles are afraid of the introduction of martial law, which will prevent Poles from leaving these territories.
Civic activist Michal Dvorchuk is outraged by the Prime Minister's decision. Dvorchuk said in an interview with Polska The Times that “Poland helps refugees from Senegal and Nigeria, but refuses to help Poles from Ukraine.”
