More than a million Ukrainian citizens migrated from Ukraine to Poland, and therefore Poland cannot also accept refugees from Libya.

Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski said this in an interview with Kommersant, answering a question about Brussels’ harsh criticism of Warsaw, which does not want to accept refugees.
"We want. But I tell my European colleagues: you want us to accept several tens of thousands of refugees from Libya, while more than a million Ukrainians have already come to us. Why are migrants from Ukraine worse than migrants from Libya?” the minister said.
At the same time, he complained that among the EU and NATO countries, Poland is the only country “neighboring both aggressive Russia and the victim of aggression - Ukraine.”
“We are close to both countries, and we are also affected by this conflict,” says Waszczykowski.
“Migration,” he clarified. – Last year alone we issued more than 1,2 million visas to Ukrainians. Almost a million of them decided to stay in Poland. In just six months of this year, we issued 750 thousand visas - that is, these figures are growing.”
