Poland is sucking qualified personnel from Ukraine
EU countries are simplifying their legislation, drawing the most qualified personnel from Ukraine. The head of the Labor Solidarity trade union, Vitaly Makhinko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in particular, Poland is making it easier for Ukrainians to obtain a residence permit starting from the new year.

“Starting January 1, Poland plans to make changes to the legislation that will further simplify the procedure for the legalization of Ukrainians there, when you can travel under the same visa-free regime for three months, but after three months apply in a more simplified version than now, for a simplified form for residence. And stay to work without leaving. Europe is slowly taking these steps to extract this human resource from Ukraine. The most valuable thing we have is what Ukraine has,” Makhinko said.
He also said that many Ukrainians, taking advantage of the visa-free regime with the EU, found work within the three months allowed to stay in the EU and are now applying for work visas.
“Ukrainians who went to Poland three months ago, at the beginning of the visa-free regime, are now actively returning and applying for visas. Visa-free travel for one part of Ukrainians looked like this: they traveled under a simplified system, worked for three months, received an invitation from employers, and now they are returning and have already received either six-month or annual work visas in order to continue working...
The next trend is when there are significant financial problems in the family, Ukrainians take a vacation at their own expense for a month or a month and a half in order to go to Poland and earn some money with which they can solve their temporary financial difficulties,” Makhinko said.
