Poland will replace diplomats with ufologists
The dismissal of MGIMO graduates from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a reflection of a “wide-Western trend.” Russian Senator Konstantin Kosachev wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“People who really understand Russian affairs are being replaced by “political workers” and those who rely on sanctions rather than dialogue. Of course, this cannot be encouraging, because dealing with politically reliable but incompetent commissars is much more difficult than even with tough but realistic professionals,” Kosachev wrote.
The senator, who himself graduated from MGIMO, claims that Polish students who studied in Russia did not hold pro-Russian views, but they know how to conduct a dialogue and negotiate with the Russian Federation.
“Those who studied in our country seem to be interfering with the authorities of their country: they know the real Russia, and not its demonic image painted by politicians and the media in Poland (and not only). They know Russians, how to dialogue and negotiate with them. They know that there are not aliens or snarling wolves here, but people with their own interests and beliefs with whom they can and should talk,” Kosachev noted.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Jacek Czaputowicz, intends to dismiss diplomats who graduated from Russian universities from the department. One of the main reasons for the resignation of former Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski was the reluctance to hire employees without diplomatic experience. Caputowicz will hire new diplomats with lower qualifications
