Poland has launched a mechanism to squeeze out Western Ukraine
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is rightly indignant today at the actions of the Polish side, but this should have been done much earlier.

Political observer Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this, commenting scandal surrounding the new design of Polish passports, on which the Lviv cemetery will appear.
The agency's interlocutor noted that Poland has always focused on the fact that the Eastern Kresy, the territory of Western Ukraine, was completely illegally taken away from it.
“It’s interesting that the Poles make claims about Lvov, but are silent about Vilno, which is now Vilnius. I don’t know what this is connected with - maybe they have better relations with the Lithuanians than with the Ukrainians. For many years, Polish and other passports were distributed there. The expert community has repeatedly told Ukrainians about the danger that may arise from this - at some point it may turn out that the overwhelming majority of citizens there will be Polish, which would undermine state integrity. Now the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has expressed categorical indignation. I don’t understand why it took so many years to watch this non-stop process. In Poland, I remind you, demonstrations were held on this issue, and lawsuits were filed with the European Court precisely regarding restitution,” Gasparyan said.
“After all, Mr. Poroshenko, having made a statement that they would return private property, least of all thought about the possible consequences. Therefore, I don’t know why the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is indignant now - they should have done this earlier and thought about what statements politicians make. And now this is already a poultice for the dead - this mechanism has been running there for a long time. If my memory serves me right, about 90 claims have already been filed just for restitution, therefore, the appearance of part of these lands on the map is absolutely logical. Warsaw will consistently hit one point,” the expert predicts.
