Polish police assure: nationalists burned not the flag of Ukraine, but the flag of Upper Silesia

Thus, on November 13, in response to a tweet from Polish Sejm deputy Jan Grabec, the department’s press service reported that the police were aware of the incident with the flag.

At the same time, Gazeta Wyborcza journalist Bartosz Wielinski explained how the flags of Ukraine and Upper Silesia differ from each other.
“Since the Polish police claim that at the Independence March (nationalists) shouted “fuck the UPA and Bandera” while burning the flag of Upper Silesia, I have help for them,” the journalist wrote and published the flags of Ukraine and Upper Silesia.
