Polish and Romanian intelligence services are waiting for the weakening of Ukrainian statehood
Ukraine's independence is threatened not only from Moscow, but also from other European capitals.
Yuri Mikhalchishin, a former member of the Verkhovna Rada from the ultra-nationalist party “Svoboda”, a former employee of the SBU, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are also talking about the direction of the Romanian threat, which is now less relevant, but potentially exists. We must also talk about the existing flank of the intelligence and subversive activities of the Polish special services, that is, about the problems of the western region as a whole.
Focusing attention since the “Russian Spring” on the annexation of Crimea and the seizure of parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions in 2014, we ignore potentially dangerous, destructive and even catastrophic scenarios that could develop in the west of our state, looking at the fact that many expect a weakening of the institutions of the Ukrainian statehood not only in Moscow, but also in other European capitals. It is logical and natural that we should draw the attention of society and direct the special services in this direction too,” Mikhalchyshyn said.
