Polish border guards taught Ukrainian methods of working with recruits
The five-day course “Professional selection of candidates for service in the State Border Service of Ukraine” has completed at the Training Center of the State Border Service, located in Orshants, Cherkasy region. The course was conducted by representatives of the Polish Border Guard.

As noted, the training took place within the framework of the “New Face of the Border” pilot project. As part of the project, Polish specialists act as experts from the International Organization for Migration.
“Representatives of the border control units, internal and internal security departments of the State Border Guard Service, and psychologists from the Training Center took part in the course.
During the course, issues of deepening knowledge in the field of modern selection of candidates and developing the competence of commission representatives, combating and preventing corruption in the process of selection for service in the State Border Guard Service, etc. were considered. Integrating exercises were also conducted with the participation of all members of the commissions for conducting qualification interviews and taking into account the candidates’ results,” the message says.
