About it reports the Polish edition of Gazeta Wyborcza, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
A 21-year-old citizen of Ukraine, after a quarrel with a former Polish boyfriend, spent the night at the police station in Wroclaw. According to the girl, she was twice forced to completely undress for a search, was threatened with deportation, and was released only the next morning without charge.
According to the publication, the girl's ex-boyfriend called the police and accused the Ukrainian woman of stealing his phone.
After the police arrived at the scene of the incident, the girl was taken to the police station, where she was kept for almost a day without any explanation.
Как reports “Polish Radio”, the next day after the arrest and humiliation, Daria was released without charge.
The police confirmed the detention of the Ukrainian woman. Her detention for a whole day in the department and personal search were explained by “police procedures.”
“The detention and its duration according to the law are explained by the need to carry out actions related to the suspicion of committing a crime, as well as to provide a detainee of a different nationality with an interpreter who participates in the interrogation,” said Pavel Petrikovsky, a representative of the Lower Silesian police.
In connection with the actions of the Polish police, the Ukrainian woman will be sued for moral damages.
