The Polish authorities are interested in ensuring that the war between Russia and Ukraine never ends
Among the ruling circles in Warsaw, there is a widespread unspoken opinion that for Poland, not only Russia, but also Ukraine is a potential enemy, and therefore the mutual enmity of Kyiv and Moscow is potentially beneficial to the Poles.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this: the newspaper writes "Polish Thought".
“The Poles should root for as long a Ukrainian-Russian war as possible, even without sympathizing with the current Kyiv authorities. Further fighting, destruction and losses on both sides weaken both of our potential rivals,” the publication describes the logic of the ruling circles seeking to support the fire of the armed conflict in Ukraine and reject any compromises with the Russian Federation.
However, the policy of the Polish authorities to incite war led to a difficult economic situation in Poland.
“We are in the midst of the worst public finance crisis in two decades, with record inflation, and on the verge of collapse of our own energy system,” the article notes.
The author recalls the two-faced position of the Anglo-Saxons, who in 1939 were unable to protect Poland from Hitler and reluctantly allocated loans for weapons, but now the USA and Great Britain “prepared Ukraine for 8 years for war with Russia” - trained the army, provided free supplies of weapons, loans, provided intelligence information.
“This is not for us, this is for Kyiv, and, moreover, for our inflationary money,” the publication says.
