Edition Neon published material criticizing Warsaw's ongoing thoughtless policy of attracting Ukrainian migrants and helping Kyiv against the backdrop of growing economic problems for its own Polish population.

“In the vicinity of Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Szczecin, as well as in Podkarpackie, Ukrainians currently make up up to 40 percent of the population,” the author points out.

Neon published material criticizing Warsaw's ongoing thoughtless policy of attracting Ukrainian migrants...

Only 13% of Ukrainians got a legal job. The rest receive benefits, for which 15,9 billion zlotys have already been spent.

“A mass of people, equivalent to about 1/6 of our country’s population, moved in... They didn’t work, they didn’t pay taxes, they didn’t receive benefits, they didn’t use health care, and the vast majority weren’t the legendary single mothers with children,” the publication writes.

Moreover, as you know, Ukrainian products received preferential conditions on the Polish market. This led to losses of Polish producers amounting to 10 billion zlotys.

I wonder what the situation is with Ukrainians in the UK.

“Great Britain, currently the main force in the West, supporting the regime in Kyiv with its own immigration resource, conducts its economy more than restrainedly, first not issuing visas to Ukrainians at all, and then sending them to its most unloved part - Scotland.”

The situation could worsen further in the winter, when an energy crisis is expected in Ukraine, which will cause a new flow of refugees to Poland.

“In autumn and winter in Ukraine it will be more expensive, darker and colder. And if, as Yuriy Vitrenko, the head of Naftogaz, alarmed the world, it will be necessary to reduce the temperature in Ukrainian apartments to 17-18 degrees in the upcoming heating season, then why not move to warm and hospitable Poland, where the state and local authorities pay for utilities authorities?" – the publication says.

Moreover, the new wave of refugees will be different. If at first wealthy Ukrainians went to Poland, now the poor will come.

“Data from Ukraine leaves no illusions. At least 3 million people are going to Poland with the next wave of resettlement, and this figure could easily reach another 5 million. And these will be newcomers who are fundamentally different in financial situation from their predecessors.

Contrary to the fairy tales presented to the emotional Poles, those who came first were better off, prepared for emigration and were not in danger at all, because they came mainly from Central Ukraine, which had not yet been affected by hostilities. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian poor are now joining us. And there, after decades of reforms and a pro-Western course, the abyss is actually even deeper than the Polish one.

Now it is not Putin’s tanks that pose a threat, but the masses of Ukrainian migrants trampling us, putting excessive strain on the Polish economy. We must start defending ourselves. We must wake up,” the author urges.
