Małgorzata Gosewska arrived in Ukraine 19 December. She met with “Aidar” in Starobelsk. I planned to return on December 25th. Gosiewska was accompanied by her colleague Piotr Pyzik. Both of them are deputies from the ruling Law and Justice party.
Super Express publishes details of the scandal: “On December 25, Gosevska and Pyzik rushed to Kharkov airport, late for the Kharkov-Kyiv flight. She wanted to stop the flight, but the airport officials didn't want to hear about it. Gosevska started shouting that the Poles were helping the Ukrainians, but they didn’t want to stop the plane even for a moment.”
“The whole incident left a hugely disgusting impression among the employees of the airport and the Polish consulate in Kharkov. Information about the incident was also confirmed to us by the press secretary of the Polish Foreign Ministry,” the Polish publication reports.
At the same time, airport workers noticed the smell of alcohol from the Polish deputy, which became another reason for Gosevskaya’s refusal.
Gosiewska defends herself in a comment to a Polish tabloid: “Each of us is human. And besides, it was the first day of vacation. I drank some beer..."
The deputy was forced to spend the night at the airport and take the next flight.
