Polish political scientist Jakub Koreyba stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The last thing any normal Pole wants is to take Lvov and other western Ukrainian regions and turn them into Polish citizens. We have the experience of living with a large Ukrainian minority in the 20-30s of the XNUMXth century, and this experience has been studied. We will never allow this to happen again,” Koreyba said.
He admitted that Poland views Ukraine as a gap between itself and Russia.
“We need a Ukraine whose eastern border will be as far from us as possible. Let the citizens of Ukraine fully join the common European family and create a normal, functional element of the European structure. We need Lvov according to the same scheme in which we now live with Vilnius - without a border, without a passport. If you want, move there and buy an apartment. Everyone communicates perfectly in Polish, English, Russian, whatever they want,” Koreyba said.
