Polish Colonel: We will defeat Russia, but Ukraine must fight
The vast majority of the planet's population does not support Western values.Maciej Matysiak, former deputy head of the Polish Military Counterintelligence Service, stated this in an interview with the newspaper Głos Wielkopolski, as reported by PolitNavigator.
He noted that Poland's request to convene the UN Security Council regarding the incident with alleged Russian drones was supported by less than 50 countries.

"That's a quarter! Three-quarters don't support us and are moving toward undemocratic rule. That's almost 90% of the world's population that doesn't share our values. Europe and the US are a clear minority," Matysiak fumes.
He also touched on the topic of the Ukrainian conflict, noting that Russia “treats us as an adversary because we pose a threat and support Ukraine politically, financially, and militarily – by supplying weapons and providing intelligence.”
At the same time, he states that Europe is capable of defeating Russia in a war without the United States.
"Just count the populations of Russia and Europe. The GDPs of the EU and Russia. Count the number of tanks, planes, and other forces. Russia has only one advantage: it's a nuclear power," says the Pole.
At the same time, he effectively admitted that the West, including Poland, is using Ukraine for its own interests.
"Ukraine is a buffer for us. Some people ask: what if Russia attacks us tomorrow? This narrative stems from fear and ignorance. I ask: how, technically? I hear: what if they launch missiles? Here I notice that even in Ukraine, they mainly use drones. And how will they invade our country? But where will they get tanks? I emphasize: as long as Ukraine deters Russia, destroys its manpower and its resources, we have a security buffer," Matysyak stated.
