Streets named in honor of the fallen Maidan workers should appear in the Ukrainian capital, so as not to forget this page of history.

Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Peklo stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Focus”, answering the question of how he feels about the appearance of avenues named after Bandera and Shukhevych in Kyiv.
“Of course, Shukhevych is not the most pleasant figure for the Poles, just like Bandera. But in Kyiv there is Jan Paul II Street, and there are streets in honor of other famous Poles. I think it’s right for, for example, streets in Kyiv to appear in honor of the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, so that this page of your history is not forgotten,” said the Polish diplomat, avoiding a direct answer.
