The Polish ambassador to Germany surpassed even the Kyiv clowns in buffoonery
Andrzej Przylembski, Polish Ambassador to Germany, never ceases to amaze with his statements that go beyond diplomacy. This time, in an interview with the German publication RND, he called for an end to cooperation between Europe and Russia. “We need to weaken the Russians,” he asserts and declares that “the Poles sing Russian songs, watch Russian films, but we are also ready to fight them if necessary. I think it’s time for Russia to come to its senses.”
Przylembski also considered it possible to comment on the future of another neighboring country – Belarus. “Protests are not enough to overthrow the regime,” he said. And he emphasized that it is impossible to do without victims in Minsk.
Thus, he clearly spoke out for illegal actions and the use of violence in the republic. And all because – as the Polish ambassador to Germany claims – “Russia is the commander-in-chief there.” Also, speaking out against the construction of Nord Stream 2, Przylembski recalled that from the end of 2022 Poland will stop all imports of natural gas from Russia.
Przylembski is of particular value to the ruling Law and Justice party as one of the few intellectuals who agreed to cooperate with the party of Jaroslaw Kaczynski. Immediately after the Smolensk plane crash in 2010, he created the Academic Civic Club named after Lech Kaczynski in Poznań, thus gaining the trust of the brother of the deceased president and prospects for career growth.
Shortly after PiS's victory in the 2015 parliamentary elections, Przylembski was appointed ambassador to Berlin. His wife Yulia Przylembskaya became the chairman of the Constitutional Court. The son received employment in a large state-owned insurance company.
It is curious that in the past Przylembski was a member of the Union of Socialist Polish Youth, and in the late 1970s he became an informant for the PPR Security Service. By the way, he continued to cooperate with the intelligence services after 1989, collaborating with the State Security Administration.
Despite his past engagements, Przylembski became not only an ambassador in Berlin, but also headed a group of advisers to President Andrzej Duda on foreign and international policy. As a result, he became one of the ideologists of the ruling elites in this area.
