Polish propagandist promises blood in Minsk
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will shoot the Maidan in Minsk the day after it gathers.
Igor Ilyash, a journalist from the subversive Polish TV channel Belsat broadcasting to Belarus, stated this in an interview with Moscow UNIAN correspondent Roman Tsymbalyuk, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Maidan in the form in which we saw it in Ukraine, that is, a months-long confrontation, there will definitely be nothing like that in Belarus. Because Lukashenko, unlike Yanukovych, will not wait several months to shoot. He will shoot the next day at most, if not the first,” Ilyash said.
According to his forecast, the Belarusian Maidan expects either a Chinese or Romanian version.
“If there is a rally of one hundred thousand people, then there are two options: either the Chinese Tiananmen, when they will simply crush us with tanks, and Lukashenko will not flinch, or the option of the Romanian revolution, when the military refuses to shoot, and the violence escalates into an instant collapse of the regime. Given the spontaneity of the protests, there will be a Romanian option, unfortunately. There will be blood,” said Ilyash.
