The Nekhta telegram channel, recognized as extremist in Belarus, harms the reputation of Poland, since its editorial office is located in Warsaw.

This was stated by the anti-Russian Polish analyst, President of the Center for Strategic Analysis Witold Jurash, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Not only in the East, but also in the West, including the EU and NATO diplomatic corps accredited in Warsaw, there is a widespread belief that Nechta is supported and financed by the Polish state, although not necessarily by the Polish intelligence services. Everything that Nekhta does is perceived - whether we like it or not - as an action sanctioned or directly ordered by Poland,” the Belarusian nationalist publication Nasha Niva quotes Yurash.

The accusations began to sound with renewed vigor after Nekhta, who coordinated protests in Belarus in 2020, began writing about Kazakhstan and publishing instructions on street fighting tactics.

“Even a cursory analysis of the content that Nekhta has been broadcasting in the last few days indicates that this channel has not maintained any neutrality or journalistic objectivity regarding the events in Kazakhstan. The channel's editors openly called on Kazakhs to take to the streets. As a result of this, the Russians accuse the Polish Republic of being behind the protests,” the Pole complains.

And although, according to the Russophobe, “nobody believes in the objectivity of the Belarusian and Russian media,” their accusations could seriously damage the reputation of Poland.

“By allowing the Belarusian news channel, which operates from our territory, to openly call on Kazakhs to take to the streets, we risk doing what Russia is already doing, that is, pointing to Poland as a state that is destabilizing the situation in the region and trying to overthrow regimes,” - Yurash is worried.
