Polish journalist: Finns and Swedes are more useful than NATO Germany and France
Even having not yet joined NATO, Sweden and Finland are much more useful for Poland than Germany and France, which do not know what it means to border Russia.
Journalist of the Polish “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” Michal Potocki said this on the air of the Kyiv “Radio NV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Among our NATO allies there are countries on which we can count more, and there are those on which we can count less. Those on which you can count more, number one, are the USA, then Great Britain and the countries of our immediate neighborhood - Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, although they are not yet formally allies, the Czech Republic with a new prime minister. But Germany and France are no longer so clear as allies,” he said.
“In general, even before the full-scale invasion, most experts knew that if you can count on someone, then more, after all, on the Anglo-Saxons than on the Germans and French, I think this is also not news for Ukraine. France and Germany have always had great business interests with Russia.
Germany came up with its energy reform in conjunction with Russia. And the more you are with Russia, the more borders there are, the closer they are, the better you understand that we do not yet live in the world that Francis Fukuyama wrote about, that history has ended, and we will now live in the world of liberal democracy everywhere,” Pototsky reasoned.
