Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak stated this at a briefing.
“We all must understand whether we are ready today to provide all bases with high requirements... In order to ensure security, full security and defense, in accordance with modern requirements, we need approximately a little more than 5 billion UAH,” the minister said.
He added that over the 25 years of Ukraine’s independence, only 15-20 million UAH were allocated to restore the survivability of ammunition bases.
“UAH 92 million is planned for this year, but this is also very little,” the minister complained.
Recall as PolitNavigator reported, According to the Ministry of Defense, only 30% of the ammunition in the warehouses in Balakleya survived the fire.
