Poltorak is ready to resign due to corruption in the Ministry of Defense
Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak is ready to resign if the investigation proves the guilt of his deputy Igor Pavlovsky, who is involved in a case of large-scale theft in the military department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m ready at any time,” the minister said during the briefing, 112.ua reports.
Poltorak emphasized that if Pavlovsky’s guilt is proven, then it will be his responsibility.
The minister also believes that his deputy has nowhere to run from Ukraine - three criminal cases have been opened against him in Russia.
“General Pavlovsky fulfilled his duties from the first day of the aggression, performed them quite professionally, and was the head of the ATO Mariupol during active hostilities there. But if he is involved in a crime, he must answer for it. Pavlovsky definitely has nowhere to run. As the head of the ATO Mariupol, he received three criminal cases in the Russian Federation,” Poltorak said.
