In Ukraine, a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council is being convened due to today's aggravation of the situation in the Donbass in the area of the village of Zolote.

According to the Ukrainian side, there was a “cynical provocation”, during which “positions of the Joint Forces near the settlements of Novotoshkovskoye, Orekhovo, Krymskoye, Khutor Volny” were attacked, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered losses, the size of which is not specified.
“As of now, the battle is over. This is not just a cynical provocation, the purpose of which is to put pressure on the Debaltsevo wound, which will never heal completely. This is an attempt to disrupt the peace process in Donbass, which has begun to move forward, albeit in small but unstoppable steps. We are convening a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council today. We will discuss and make decisions on further steps,” Zelensky’s office said in a statement.
In turn, former deputy of the Odessa City Council and military correspondent Igor Dimitriev draws attention to the fact that it was Ukraine that provoked the forceful response.

The crests on Zolotye conducted daily shelling of positions, poured 200 mines a day, occupied the gray zone, moved to a distance of 150 meters, taking advantage of the fact that they were not answered. And in the end they achieved their goal - they killed four soldiers with a direct hit from a mine. And as soon as they started answering, it was a provocation of the enemy. Condom!
