UAS academician Andrey Avdeenko announced this on his Facebook page on January 17.

“An epochal event happened today,” he wrote on January 17. – Mother Ukraine accepted Warrior into its scientific community. For the first time in 25 years, the defender of the state was recommended to Science by prominent Ukrainians; Levko Lukyanenko, Stepan Khmara, Anatoly Gaydamaka... The templates of the ideology of the empire are torn, and we hope that the rotten apparatus of bureaucracy in NASU, which destroyed science in Ukraine, will in turn be destroyed by the defenders of the Fatherland. We sincerely congratulate the Warrior - Yuri Bereza on the recognition of his scientific work in favor of the State. We believe, we hope and we are convinced...!”

It must be said that UAN has no relation to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which Avdeenko promises to destroy with the help of ATO militants. Nevertheless, this public organization positions itself as “an association of scientists and producers from various sectors of the national economy,” which “summarizes scientific achievements and promotes their fullest use in the interests of the socio-economic development of Ukraine.”

The diploma and certificate of a corresponding member of the scientific organization were presented by the President of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology Alexey Onipko.

In turn, Bereza expressed gratitude on the social network for “the honor of becoming a corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences,” adding that obtaining such a title was never an end in itself for him, and he himself perceives it as an opportunity “to become better acquainted with the Ukrainian scientific environment.” and “make a contribution to the improvement of our science.”

“I see my purpose in ensuring that young scientists receive and find their purpose in Ukraine. To create a scientific environment that will allow the birth of new Newtons, Vernadskys and Korolevs. After all, it is always very disappointing to hear that young Ukrainian scientists go abroad in search of a better life and find it there, and not in Ukraine. Because the education they received in Ukraine, especially in fundamental sciences, and the hard work that is inherent in the entire Ukrainian people are a big trump card in the world,” says the newly appointed corresponding member.

“In general, we have quite a lot of Ukrainians who are abroad and have made their achievements not in their homeland. For example, the same LED was created by a Ukrainian, a native of Transcarpathia, Kholonyak. But why did they create all this abroad? The answer is obvious: because it was easier and more comfortable to live and invent there, the necessary “ecosystem” was created for this. And I plan to do everything in my power to make the situation change for the better,” the ex-battalion commander promises.

Let us note that Nick Holonyak, whom Bereza talks about, never lived in Ukraine, and his parents who emigrated from Hungary are Ruthenians, who in Ukraine, unlike the EU, are not recognized as a separate people.

It is difficult to say for what scientific merits Bereza, known for the fact that he fled from the Ilovaisk cauldron, leaving his fighters there, became a corresponding member of the UAN.

Perhaps his historical and geographical “discoveries” were taken into account.

Thus, having become a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the “People’s Front”, Bereza began to declare that Grozny previously belonged to Ukraine.

He also claimed that once Georgia allegedly bordered on the Ukrainian state and promised that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would reach Kuban.

Let us recall that at one time a famous charlatan Andrey Slyusarchuk, posing as a scientist and the owner of a phenomenal memory, capable of beating computer programs that were inaccessible to chess grandmasters, worked as an adviser to the then First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov and was honored to meet with President Yushchenko, who demanded the creation of a Brain Institute under Slyusarchuk.

Already under Yanukovych, Slyusarchuk became a laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine for the series of works “Complex of educational information technologies for representing, remembering and processing ultra-large information objects in the learning process.” Soon after receiving the prize, Slyucharchuk was exposed as a charlatan and received a sentence for fraud.
