Pole Koreyba prophesies: “Nord Stream 2” – Molotov-Ribbentrop gas pipeline
The United States is doing everything to prevent the construction of Nord Stream 2, because it sees in this project the makings of a geopolitical union between Russia and Germany, which could disintegrate American hegemony and American leadership in Eastern Europe.
Polish journalist and political scientist Jakub Koreyba stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The point is not that this is your Nord Stream, but that this gas pipeline is Russian-German. And the Russian-German continental union, which you dream of and dreamed of in the XNUMXth century under Frederick, in the XNUMXth century under Bismarck, in the XNUMXth under Hitler, is what scares the Americans,” said the Pole.
“Do I understand correctly that we are once again proving that Ukraine is a political nothing, and also a bargaining chip? That is, they are taking advantage of Ukraine, this is the argument - sanctions are needed, let’s say that this is so that Russia does not destroy Ukraine - that’s the official wording,” noted TV presenter Olga Skabeeva.
“This is about the fact that the German-Russian alliance really threatens, this is the only geopolitical alignment at the moment that can disintegrate American hegemony and American leadership in Eastern Europe. Please note that they do not impose sanctions on Siberia, they do not impose sanctions on Sakhalin LNG, they impose sanctions on this particular Ribbentrop-Molotov gas pipeline, because this is the first step towards the renewal of the German-Russian alliance,” Koreyba stubbornly insists.
