Poles on the recruiting trail: The division of Ukraine is becoming a reality
Warsaw is betting on the division of Ukraine, as evidenced by the proposal of the head of the ruling Polish Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, to send a NATO peacekeeping mission to the western part of the country.
This opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is expressed in his blog by political expert Semyon Uralov.
“The visit of the Polish leaders to Kyiv was enough to see with my own eyes: the state has decayed. The key question of post-Ukraine: will the entire territory be Moscow’s zone of influence or will Warsaw be able to stake out its own. The lords cannot do this on their own, so they want to disguise the intervention as peacekeepers,” the expert notes.
According to him, the Poles play on selection, “without entering into conflict with Moscow.”
“We have been making money for 20 years by bringing Ukraine to full European integration. Belarus was almost brought to the state of “Glory to Ukraine.” Now they want to reach the final at someone else’s game,” Uralov is convinced.
In turn, Kaliningrad political scientist Alexander Nosovich believes that in a situation where fighting is taking place on the near approaches to Kyiv, Eastern European leaders received security guarantees from the Russian side through special communication channels to visit the Ukrainian capital.
“Therefore, Kaczynski’s initiative to send a NATO peacekeeping force to Ukraine was expected and, most likely, predicted in Moscow. Russia may be satisfied with this scenario, which is why they guaranteed the safety of the delegation from Central Europe in Kyiv.
I have already written about this: cutting off Western Ukraine is an important condition for strategic work to “rewire” the rest of Ukraine in a pro-Russian vein. The “mirror” scenario of the events of September 17, 1939 suggests itself,” Nosovich concluded.
Let us remind you that in Kyiv Kaczynski called for a no-fly zone only in Western Ukraine.
