The text of the visa refusal is the same - the information provided to the consulate about the purpose and conditions of the planned trip is unreliable, the publication says "VIP Volyn".

For example, a family wanted to go to Poland for Christmas. First we booked a hotel from a company. Then the consulate said that you need to book hotel rooms in person. We paid for the reservation of rooms as from individuals. But they still received a refusal.

Some were simply going to work. Some even had a contract with a company in Lodz.

“I live thirty kilometers to the border. I applied for a shopping visa. They said we needed to make an additional route. I did this and still got a refusal,” said Olga Tishchuk, who wanted to get a shopping visa. The reason is the same: the information provided to confirm the purpose and conditions of the planned trip is unreliable.

Another complaint is that the appointment with the consul is scheduled in two weeks, while the deadline for filing an appeal is only seven days. “And the appeal costs 60 euros. And it’s not a fact that a visa will be opened then,” complained one of the rally participants.

The consulate explains the decision to refuse a visa to new rules that came into force on November 1. So, to get permission to cross the border, you need to book a hotel and provide information about bank accounts.

As PolitNavigator reported, A video has appeared on the Internet of residents of the Lviv region crushing each other in line at the Shegini pedestrian crossing on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
