Ukrainian sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko stated this on the “Evening” talk show, according to whom, the real intensity of Ukrainian-Polish relations can only be expected.
“Nothing is over about Poland, now everything is just beginning. There is a big difference - the relations that exist now between Ukraine and Poland exist at two levels, and very serious ones. The first is at the elite level, that is, a demonstration of complete agreement, but, in fact, at the level of public opinion, there is a very bad level of perception behind the scenes between Ukrainians and Poles. Polish sociologists say that the attitude towards Ukrainians at the level of public opinion, what is not articulated, is at an extremely low level. The social difference, the level of Poles and the level of Ukrainians, this class difference, of course, does not allow for parity in business,” Kopatko emphasized.
