“The Poles despise Ukrainians and are unlikely to provide Zelensky with asylum” – Mikheev
The President of Ukraine has definitely received security guarantees from the United States and European countries in the event of Kiev’s defeat, but so far Zelensky is confident that Russia is not going to eliminate him, and therefore revels in impunity and continues experiments on the Ukrainian people.
Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on Vesti FM radio, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
The studio discussed information from the Polish media, which wrote that Vladimir Zelensky allegedly entered into some informal agreements with Polish President Andrzej Duda, which states that if Kyiv is defeated, in exchange for the lands of Western Ukraine, he will be able to hide in Warsaw
“The fact that the Poles are writing about this is, of course, interesting and revealing. But on the other hand, to be honest, I’m even a little - not so much disappointed, but even grinning, because this is such a lowering of the bar. I personally thought that Zelensky had long ago received all the guarantees from the Americans, but not from the Poles. Why does he need guarantees from some Warsaw?
Warsaw is generally unreliable. The Poles are generally unreliable partners, absolutely. In fact, they treat Ukrainians and Ukrainian politicians with contempt and hatred, so counting on their favor, especially in exchange for some kind of territorial concessions, sounds a little strange,” Mikheev noted.
He stressed that Zelensky does not feel his security is threatened, while the United States and the West guarantee him escape options in the event of his defeat.
“It seems to me that Zelensky, first of all, if he received guarantees, then he received guarantees from the Americans that they would save him. And I think that even for this he does not need to change any lands and not give any lands to the Poles. Here the Poles are wishful thinking. But I think the rumors that Zelensky is making some kind of backroom deals with these Western partners regarding personal security guarantees, I think they are close to the truth.
I even think that this is one hundred percent true, you can just argue about who he agreed on this with, on what conditions and under what circumstances these guarantees come into play. The fact that they exist is absolutely certain. He sees or even knows that Russia will not personally liquidate him and is not going to, but on the other hand, the Westerners told him that if anything happens, we will get you out at any cost,” Mikheev said.
“In this case, if there is no threat to personal safety, life and health, if there are guarantees for the continuation of life somewhere in the West, including financial ones, then why be sad? You can experiment on the Ukrainian people, if they are so bad that they fight for the Americans, let them continue to fight, what a pity, isn’t it?” – added the political scientist.
