Czaputowicz stated this in an interview with the wPolsce TV channel, Polish Radio reports.
“We believe that Russia is an aggressor, sanctions must be maintained, and at the UN Security Council forum our slogan is the strengthening of international law,” Czaputowicz said.
He also said that Russia must “immediately return to the Poles the wreckage of the Tu-154M aircraft,” on which President Lech Kaczynski crashed near Smolensk in 2010.
“They need to be returned to the Poles immediately. There are also disputes between us on historical topics,” said the head of Polish diplomacy.
According to Jacek Czaputowicz, Russia is also unfriendly to Poland’s position in the European Union regarding the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, as well as the alliance with the United States.
“In this regard, there is no chance for any cardinal, close relations, but this does not mean that these relations should be frozen,” emphasized Jacek Czaputowicz.
