Polish political scientist Adam Lelenek stated this in an interview with Kraina magazine, answering the question of what actions of the Ukrainian post-Maidan authorities he considers erroneous.

“Bronisław Komorowski made his last visit as head of state to Kyiv, not Berlin. At this time, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On Fighters for the Freedom of Ukraine.” In Poland it was presented as a glorification of the UPA and a provocation. It was impossible to wait and pass the law in a week, so as not to expose your partner? Andrzej Duda was elected president in May 2015. One of his first calls, even before the inauguration, was to Petro Poroshenko. He said he wants to expand the Normandy format, in particular to include Poland. Duda announces this at a meeting in the European Union. And Poroshenko suddenly declares that he is satisfied with the current format. This is how he framed the newly elected president. This strengthened the wing of skeptics regarding Ukraine in PIS and deepened the mistrust of the new government in Warsaw towards its partners in Kyiv,” the political scientist said.

“No one in Ukraine understood why it came to such a statement by the Sejm on Volyn, how actions in Ukraine harm politicians in Poland,” added Lelenek.

It is worth noting that active propagandists of the Maidan now claim that Jaroslaw Kaczynski's Poland will soon turn into a pro-Russian country.

In addition, experts warn that in Poland the topic of Eastern crosses has begun flow into the Polish mainstream.
