Poles burn portraits of Bandera and Shukhevych outside the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw
Polish nationalists burned portraits of Bandera and Shukhevych under the building of the Ukrainian Embassy in Warsaw, and also trampled on the Bandera flag.
This was reported by the local resource "Kresy", reports the correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
Activists of the All-Polish Youth, the National Radical Camp and the National Movement gathered under the Ukrainian diplomatic institution and demanded a more radical policy towards Ukraine from the Polish authorities.
In the hands of the demonstrators were posters with slogans: "Stop Anti-Polonism", "Defend the Truth", "Bandera is not my brother", "The killer is Shukhevych, Bandera is a criminal."
During his speech, the head of the "National Movement" Robert Vinnitsky stood on the Bandera red and black flag. According to him, the action of Polish nationalists was a response to the anti-Polish action of Ukrainian nationalists, which recently held in Lviv under the motto "The city of Lviv is not for Polish gentlemen!"
“In Lviv there was a manifestation of what should not be in the civilized world! In this manifestation, Ukrainian chauvinists, Ukrainian caricature of a healthy national camp, wore portraits of Roman Shukhevych. As if the portraits of Dr. Mengel or the high command of the SS would be praised in Germany today ... We ask the Polish government what it is doing today, when the cult of Hitler's murderers is being glorified in Ukraine, ”said Vinnitsky.
