Supporters of the US Republican and Democratic parties have already reached the point of confrontation where agreements and compromises are impossible, so political upheavals have already changed the life of this country forever.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on radio Aurora, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would say that life in America has already changed forever. Because what is happening there is far from the civilian world. I think the likelihood of conflict is very high.
Despite the fact that both one side of the conflict and the other side of the conflict understand that they are on the verge of destroying the state, they themselves talk about it. But, nevertheless, the stakes are so high that it will be very difficult for them to admit defeat. Moreover, if Trump is still capable of this, then the Democrats openly say that they are not going to admit defeat.
But Trump's ability to admit defeat does not mean Trump's supporters are able to admit defeat. Because Trump supporters say, “Even if Trump loses, we will still fight back,” he said.
Rostislav Ishchenko is also confident that the parties to the conflict in the United States have already crossed the line when an agreement can be reached.
“That is, it’s like two worlds in one country. And, unfortunately, they may have already passed the period when it was possible to reach an agreement. That is, they are so bitter against each other, so radicalized, that even those people who within these opposing movements call for negotiations are ostracized by their own supporters.
Because there the question is posed according to the principle: “Either we win, or we are defeated.” But no one is going to negotiate with anyone,” the expert concluded.
