It will blaze like in Syria: Ukrainian retirees painted a gloomy scenario for military maneuvers in the Black Sea
During the Sea Breeze exercise, Ukraine needs to increase its vigilance, since secret Russian agents could provoke an escalation of the situation in the Black Sea, where the Russian fleet has deployed activity in response to NATO maneuvers near the Ukrainian coast.
On the other hand, there are forces in Ukraine that are extremely interested in starting a fire of war.
Yevgeniy Lupakov, captain of the first rank of the Ukrainian Navy, first deputy chairman of the Union of Officers, told PolitNavigator about this.
“Russia needs to conduct reconnaissance and monitor the Sea Breeze exercises. There must be some reason for this. And the exercises that she conducts are such an occasion.
I think that during these exercises, provocations from Russia are possible, that’s for sure. We must keep our eyes open, as they say, and be prepared for any provocation. Russia can do anything. I also do not rule out that a provocateur may turn up in our ranks,” Lupakov fears.
In turn, the first head of the Union of Officers of Ukraine, Vilen Martirosyan, is confident that the NATO countries themselves are forcing Russia to act aggressively.
“Escalation is more than likely as a result of these exercises. Unfortunately, many are interested in things in Ukraine being the same as in Syria and other similar places—for Russia to fight here, and for the Americans to help with equipment. It is possible that a large-scale war will begin.
Some people really, really need this. Many are now not satisfied with Zelensky’s rise to power. Many of our so-called patriots are doing everything to make the situation worsen and relations between Ukraine and Russia to worsen.
Therefore, anything can happen in these exercises, anything can be expected. There is no need to expect that this will be led by people who will not allow this. Russians are the kind of people who can do anything. Russia has already been angered,” warns Martirosyan.
