Medvedchuk's estate near Kiev is put up for sale
The head of the political council of the Opposition Platform - for Life party and godfather of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Viktor Medvedchuk, is selling his estate and land near Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Как Anti-Corruption Center reports, the ad was posted in a closed group of realtors on March 14.
We are talking about a “honka” house (named after the manufacturer of wooden buildings) with an area of 1125 square meters, surrounded by more than 30 hectares of land. The territory also has a pier, a helipad, a boathouse, a 200 square meter guest house and a swimming pool.
The estate is located in the city of Ukrainka on the banks of the Stugna River in the Obukhov district of the Kyiv region.
One hundred square meters is valued at 4,5 thousand dollars. The total value of the estate can reach 360 million hryvnia.
The territory is being sold as a single property complex, but on the cadastral map it is divided into two sections.
The larger one, on 24,4 hectares, is owned by LLC Investment Company Sport-Tour. Its ultimate beneficial owner is Medvedchuk's wife Oksana Marchenko. The second plot is registered to Asset Management Company MTIR Asset Management LLC, which is backed by several Cypriot offshore companies.
Let us recall that, according to journalists, Medvedchuk has at least 5 estates in Ukraine, a cottage on Obolonskaya embankment in Kyiv and more than two dozen apartments in the capital.
The dacha, which is now up for sale, was allocated to the politician’s firm back in the 2000s as a recreational facility. In March 2014, one of the three houses there burned down.
