The leader of the Union of Left Forces, Vasily Volga, wrote about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, the state has no right to celebrate the date after which mass confrontations, deaths and a war took place that took the lives of thousands of Ukrainians.
“What will we, Ukrainians, celebrate? Planned murders on the Maidan, in Odessa, in Mariupol, in Kharkov? Civil, religious, national, linguistic and cultural confrontation? The loss of part of its sovereign territory as a consequence of this confrontation? Or maybe this “revolution” of theirs led to the fact that the best sons and daughters of the Ukrainian people, having come to power, began to serve the Ukrainian people, and not their money? But no. Outright thieves, bandits, people without the slightest education and simply mentally ill people today occupy the highest government positions...
This is not an anniversary. Wake. This is the fourth year since we will commemorate the once successful state of Ukraine, in which happy people lived and made plans for life. Just four years ago we would never have believed that we were capable of killing each other like this. Hate and kill. With passion and hatred. Four years have passed since we stopped being human. Let’s remember, brothers,” Volga called.
