“Remember, stranger, the owner here is Ukrainian”
I don't believe this happens on its own. That the image of Lviv in Ukraine arises spontaneously, and is not imposed from above, with the help of PR technologies.
Lvivska kava. European capital. Craftsman-cavernis. By subsidizing passenger transportation in the Lviv direction, Kyiv ensured that the new generation of Ukrainian citizens visited Lviv without exception. Low prices and narrow streets did their job. The center of Russophobia acquired a positive image in the minds of many. And even the language of service employees was perceived not as an imposition of someone else’s culture, but as a corporate style. All this was not just like that and cost a lot of money, usually from the budget. Not to mention all sorts of “preferential tax regimes” and other little things.
Moreover, it is stupid to think that the new trend of Western Ukraine, its new “calling card”, expressed in the ambiguous phrase “LVIV GARBAGE”, is worth nothing, arose on its own, as a result of the overflow of the Lviv landfill.
For the uninitiated Russians, I’ll explain. For the third year now, garbage trucks with Lviv license plates have been delivering household waste throughout the territory controlled by Ukraine. Kyiv and Kharkov, Mariupol and Zhitomir. It is difficult to find a point on the map where the waste of Lviv residents would not be unloaded under the cover of darkness.
So, on the night of March 8-9, garbage was dumped in the resort area of the Odessa region, in the Belgorod-Dniester region. Before this, the village of Velikiy Dalnik became a victim of Lviv garbage.
Any normal person has a question: what exactly is happening? The official version of “Lviv landfill is full” does not explain anything. Moreover, Lvov has long been allocated a site for a new landfill.
After all, think about it, heavy vehicles haul 20 tons of ordinary household waste thousands of kilometers and are unloaded under the cover of darkness near populated areas. Drivers, without accompanying documents, overcome spaces without encountering opposition.
Someone thought about the cost of cargo transportation per ton-kilometers. That the cost of one heavy truck is tens of thousands of hryvnia. And given the specifics, maybe hundreds of thousands. And that this distribution of garbage throughout Ukraine is not hooliganism, not an accident, but a well-planned, coordinated operation. With your own tactics, strategy and fantastic budget. With the involvement of technical means and specialists. With a clear plan to attract the media.
And, quite possibly, all this was not invented in Lvov. For Lvov, this may be nothing more than blackmail of the central government in order to increase subsidies for infrastructure. At the same time, we must remember that the promotion is too expensive, and it is not customary to spend your money in Western Ukraine. Religion and national instincts do not allow it.
All this, rather, looks like another action by Kyiv to humiliate the population of Ukraine. Close to forced renaming of settlements. With such actions, the Kiev regime simply breaks the will of the people it has captured. It disorients and knocks the ground out from under your feet. When you are forced to live on the street named after the killers of your ancestors, to celebrate the dates of your defeats and humiliations. And then they dump leftovers from Lvov on your head. That's exactly Lviv. In general, it turns out to be a kind of creative interpretation of the reminder: “Remember the stranger, the owner here is Ukrainian.”
And then everything becomes clear. This is how animals mark their territory. Waste of life.
