“We remember everyone by name”: Bandera members know about the pro-Russian underground in the SBU
Despite the fact that the Bandera regime in Ukraine postponed the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day to October 14, the anniversary of the creation of the UPA, the majority of the population, including many officers of various law enforcement agencies, continue to celebrate “Soviet style” on February 23.
Ex-adviser to the head of the SBU, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the VO “Svoboda”, Lvov neo-Nazi Yuri Mikhalchishin stated this on his YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since 2014, on October 14, we have been celebrating Defender of the Fatherland Day. True, there is an inevitable problem - in the minds of Soviets (and not only the older generation, Soviets are also found at the age of 16) there is a competing date - February 23, Defender of the Fatherland Day.
This date has the ability to continue to live in the brains of our compatriots; it is a tenacious mythological structure. I am not afraid of this word, but even in those structures that are called upon to protect our territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitutional order, old-school officers behind closed doors on February 23 take out cognac from the safe, and with toasts of a certain direction, raise their glasses. We know this, we saw it, and we remember everyone by name,” Mikhalchyshyn threatened.
