US aid will not stop Russian offensive – Ukrainian political scientist
American military assistance, coupled with increased mobilization, will not stop the advance of the Armed Forces; it will only allow supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, preventing an avalanche-like collapse of the front.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the PolitBuro Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Only a combination of mobilization plus American military assistance guarantees the stability of the front. The stability of the front does not mean that the Russian army will stop advancing, the stability of the front simply means that the Russian army will not be able to break through the Ukrainian front and seize large territories, and will not be able to carry out a scenario a la de-occupation of the Kharkov region, which was carried out at one time by the Ukrainian armed forces.
Here's what it means. The Russian army is likely to continue its offensive, as the Russian offensive began in October last year. Let me remind you that previous packages of American military assistance arrived in Ukraine before the end of the year. In October, November, and December we received previously accepted military aid packages. But the Russian offensive has already begun on Avdeevka,” Bortnik said.
