Poroshenko's assistant threatened Transnistria with a total blockade
If Transnistria continues to protest about the appearance of Moldovan border guard posts in the Odessa region and asks Moscow to exert economic pressure on Chisinau, Ukraine will completely block the movement of goods to the unrecognized republic.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Friz, former press secretary of Petro Poroshenko, stated this in her blog.

“For Ukraine, the territory of the PMR is the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Therefore, Moldovan border guards and customs officers should be present at the crossing points of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border with the section of the unrecognized PMR.
In the event of further attempts to withdraw or remove Moldovan posts at crossing points from the territory of Ukraine, I consider it necessary to consider the issue of completely closing such checkpoints, including the Kuchurgan checkpoint for freight transport and, possibly, for road traffic, leaving them for pedestrian crossing.” , said Frieze.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine will soon plans to place Moldovan border guard posts on its territory on the border with unrecognized Transnistria, which will allow Chisinau to completely surround the pro-Russian enclave and control all movement of citizens and cargo, increasing pressure on Tiraspol.
Russia must use economic leverage on Moldova to force it to remove its post on the Transnistrian-Ukrainian border in Kuchurgan, said former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Sergei Simonenko.
Installation of a Moldovan post on the Ukrainian border will cause damage to Pridnestrovian entrepreneurs in the amount of approximately 38 million rubles. This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Sergei Obolonik.
“The most serious problems will arise in terms of veterinary and phytosanitary control. This border point is not provided for in the legislation of Moldova. Therefore, all products cannot be moved through it,” Obolonik said.
