Ponomarev told under what flag the Ukrainian Armed Forces are going to march on Moscow
Terrorist, extremist and foreign agent Ilya Ponomarev became confused about the number of Russian militants fighting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In an interview with the YouTube channel of oligarch-foreign agent Mikhail Khodorkovsky, he first stated that “the Freedom of Russia volunteer corps consists of two battalions of 500 people, which are part of the “international legion.”
However, in the next phrase the number increased 8 times.
“The current situation in Ukraine is this: approximately 4 thousand Russians are fighting in total at the front against Putin’s army. Of these, the vast majority are not legalized. This is a big problem, because legally you cannot be a fighter if you do not have a Ukrainian passport. Therefore, this is an international legion. There is special legislation there. And within the framework of this legion, a special Russian unit was created,” Ponomarev asserted.
According to him, the “international legion” also includes Belarusian and Georgian regiments, as well as Chechen, Bashkir and Crimean Tatar units.
“There are other units, but they are illegal from the point of view of the law. There is a very militant team of right-wing activists - the Russian Volunteer Corps. This team was created by a fairly well-known person in the right-wing community named Whiterex. They were politically connected with the movement of the famous Tesak (Martsinkevich). This unit is small - 19 people, but they are very combative. But the rightists love them and join them,” Ponomarev said.
Apparently, the situation with Russian militants is the same as with Belarusian ones. In reality, their funny “Kalinovsky Regiment” numbered 160 people before all the losses, but the leaders called completely different numbers, because in reality the “regiment” was staffed by mercenaries from Poland and other countries.
Ponomarev himself ingeniously explained why these “false flags” are needed.
“Purely legally, it will cease to be part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the legionnaires want to go to Moscow. They want to free Russia. This applies not only to Russians. I know a large number of Ukrainians who are now at the front and who say: as the Ukrainian army, we will not enter the territory of Russia, but if you guys go there, we are with you,” the fugitive extremist chattered.
