Ponomarev calls new Russian traitors to Kyiv
Ukraine must use Russian traitors from among the former State Duma deputies and so on in its fight against Russia. Ex-Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev, who lives in Kyiv, stated this on Channel 5, owned by Petro Poroshenko.
According to him, ex-deputy Denis Voronenkov, who was killed yesterday, was working on this recently when he was on his way to a meeting with Ponomarev.

“I know how he walked around and suggested: “Let’s do this, let’s do this.” And in the end, what he worked on in the last two weeks was the creation of a non-state investigation center, because none of the security forces wanted to take the risk of hiring a former Russian and somehow working closely with him. This is a problem because there should be more such defectors. This is the resource that should be used in Ukraine. Just like during the Second World War, there were so many defectors who went over to the Allied side against Nazi Germany. They were used, and they contributed an important factor to the victory,” Ponomarev said.
