“Pop-Bandera member” deported by police from Crimean Tatar rally in Kyiv
In front of the Kyiv General Post Office there was a presentation and special cancellation of postage stamps “Crimean Tatars - the indigenous people of Crimea - Ukraine”, issued for the anniversary of the expulsion from the peninsula.

The series “Nation of Ukraine” consists of 4 postage stamps “Durbe of the first Crimean Khans”, “Master coppersmith”, “Crimean Tatar warrior” and “Dance “Haitarma”. Each of them was released in a circulation of 130 thousand copies.
Chairman of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov, acting General Director of Ukrposhta Igor Tkachuk and Ukrainian artist Nikolai Kochubey, who created the drawings for these postage stamps. After that, they, together with some of the invitees, canceled the stamps. Thus, the stamps have been put into circulation and are considered valid for payment for postal services in all branches of Ukrposhta.
Those present could also see a presentation of a men's clothing collection created by a Crimean Tatar designer, and a performance by Crimean Tatar artists.
The course of the event was attempted to be disrupted by a “pop Bandera member” - a “city madman” who has been appearing at various events in the center of Kyiv for several months now.
"What are you doing! Show for America! There is blood shed in Donbass! Coffins! And here you are dancing-romances!” he shouted, but was promptly deported by police representatives.
