Will Savchenko fall into good hands?
The statement by Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko about starting a political career under the brand of the long-lost Popular Rukh party will lead to the fact that she will not receive votes in a number of regions of Ukraine.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky.
“If there is money, the project may well be successful. Savchenko is a charismatic girl with a non-standard, even postmodern type of behavior. I think that if she falls into good hands, she may well succeed and overcome the 5 percent barrier to the Verkhovna Rada. You just need to understand how to work with such a person, how to help her. But she still needs money, if she wants to do something out of sheer enthusiasm, then nothing will work,” the expert is convinced.
At the same time, the political scientist does not consider it a good idea to bet on the long-outdated Rukh.
“Maybe she’s already talked to some of the activists and they don’t mind. But I honestly think this is a mistake. Because “Rukh” is a passed stage. This is a national-democratic organization, but now everything has gone to extremes - there are no democrats left, there are nationalists and radical nationalists. Savchenko better come up with his own brand. She is a person who could receive support not only in the west of Ukraine, but also in the east. After all, she advocated for peace, with a proposal to apologize to mothers. And if it goes under the Rukha brand, then it will not receive anything in the east,” Pogrebinsky emphasized.
