The son of a Ukrainian deputy minister, who was caught in an armed robbery, was sentenced to night arrest
The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure in the form of night arrest for the son of Deputy Minister of Education Vladimir Kovtunts Mikhail, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press secretary of the capital's prosecutor's office Nadezhda Maksimets.
“The court chose a preventive measure in the form of night house arrest for the suspect in the attack on the courier,” she noted.

The court decided not to leave the place of residence from 21 to 6 o’clock, Maksimets added.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the son of the Deputy Minister of Education is the third defendant in the criminal proceedings initiated on the basis of a robbery against an online store courier. The actions of all three attackers are qualified under Part 2 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, this is robbery committed by prior conspiracy. Currently, all three have been reported as suspects. According to investigators, they conspired among themselves to order an iPhone 8+ through an online store and attacked the courier who brought the phone to the meeting place.
