Attempt number two: FOP Maidan activists occupied the center of Kyiv
Entrepreneurs continue protests on the main square of the capital of Ukraine.
Several thousand people from different regions are participating in the actions organized by the SaveFOP movement, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports from the scene.
The requirements are the same - the abolition of quarantine for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the refusal to introduce cash registers for individual entrepreneurs (individual entrepreneurs).
Protesters intend to march through the government quarter.
Traffic in the protest area is restricted by police.
The passage to Bankovaya Street, to the President's office, is blocked.
Protests by FOPs have been ongoing since the beginning of November.
During attempts to set up a tent city on the Maidan last week, dozens of entrepreneurs were injured due to clashes with the police.
It feels like people are tired. Many came from other cities and this is not the first time they have been on the square.
People brought blankets and blankets, food and bottled water. Some sit on folding chairs and seat mats placed on metal photo exhibition stands.
Packages with food and warm clothes lie there, on stands and on granite paving slabs. Those gathered did not feel any irritation about the actions of the authorities.
Sometimes people start blowing horns. Some groups coming from the regions take pictures in the center. Most of those gathered discuss their business in anticipation of the rally.
