An attempt to rehabilitate fascism ended badly for a resident of Yalta
In Yalta, a criminal case was opened against a local resident for the rehabilitation of fascism.
This was reported by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Crimea and Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Investigators found that the woman published materials on her social network page that denied crimes recorded by the International Military Tribunal and distorted the activities of the USSR and its role during the Second World War.
“A resident of Yalta spread false information about the activities of the USSR during the Second World War, giving a positive assessment of the ideology of fascism. The involvement of this citizen in the commission of the above crime was revealed by employees of the investigative department for the city of Yalta in collaboration with colleagues from the Center for Combating Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
During the search of her apartment, which took place with the force support of the special forces of the Russian Guard, religious literature was seized, including those with signs of extremism, which was also sent for appropriate examination,” the statement says.
