Attempts to shake up Crimea will be uncompromisingly suppressed, - prosecutor’s office

This was stated in an interview with the newspaper “Crimean Times” by the head of the department for supervision over the implementation of laws on federal security, interethnic relations, countering extremism and terrorism of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea, Andrey Alekseev.
“It is absolutely obvious that neither the authorities nor the people of Crimea, including the Crimean Tatars, are interested in confrontation. And cooperation and normal relationships are possible only within the framework of the law and without discrimination against some national groups to please others,” noted a representative of the supervisory agency.
According to him, the republic’s prosecutor’s office is taking all measures in this direction:
“We are open to civil dialogue and are ready to listen to the opinions of representatives of any public organizations and movements. As for the opinion of individuals about the persecution by the authorities supposedly exclusively of representatives of the Majlis, this is a deceptive impression.
The law is uncompromising towards persons who are interested in destabilizing and aggravating the situation on the territory of the republic. We will uncompromisingly suppress such attempts,” Andrei Alekseev emphasized.
