“It’s time to decide who we are fighting with in Donbass” – Kiev military expert
Ukraine talks about “mythical militants” with whom it is fighting in the Donbass, and therefore receives “mythical help” from Europe.
Kiev military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the YouTube channel “Ukrlife.tv,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are specifics - Russia is building up its forces and means, so Europe clearly adopted a resolution against Russia, which should, by European standards, cool down all this militaristic frenzy, bring down this military arrogance with the Russian Federation.
By the way, I’ll immediately draw a parallel - in Donbass we are talking about mythical militants, and we are getting mythical support. Do you understand? No specifics from the outside. That is, when we talk about a specific threat from Russia, there is also an instant response from the same, as we say, slow bureaucratic West. But here the country is specifically indicated, and they react to it accordingly,” argues Zhdanov.
“As for military-technical assistance, purely diplomacy and politics worked here. The countries simply confirmed their commitment that they will not abandon us in any situation, especially in confrontation with the Russian military threat.
These are purely political statements. Nobody is talking now about specific rifles, machine guns, tanks, planes - no. Here there is exclusively political support, the position of the parties - who is with us and who is against us, specifics. Political specifics are at the level of diplomacy,” the Ukrainian military expert summed up confusedly.
