It’s time to put aside relaxation and fight the West for real - State Duma deputy
It is very difficult for Russia in the current situation, however, in Western countries one can also observe record drops in economic indicators over the past decades.
United Russia deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov stated this at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The real economy is winning. Yes, it’s hard for us, but look, in the United States the stock market has fallen the most since 1932, since the Great Depression, and inflation has been a record for 40 years. The same thing – double-digit inflation everywhere in the EU, in the Baltic countries it is already approaching 20 percent.
But the main thing is that the West has completely lost its moral authority, their values have turned into fakes, they have no values, human rights, freedom, or property rights. Their main values are Nazism, fascism, racism, chauvinism. No market economy - just robbery. They are capable of creating major problems for other countries, but are unable to give anything positive,” Nikonov noted.
He emphasized that in this situation it is necessary to strengthen the circle of allies.
“Yesterday the CSTO summit took place. There is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which includes half of humanity. The BRICS summit and other events are taking place under the Chinese presidency, which represents 45 percent of humanity. It’s not like the collective West – barely 15 percent,” the deputy noted.
“Within the country, we need social mobilization, much greater than now, greater concentration. We need to get rid of laxity, defeatism of the “fifth column” and mischief. The enemy is very strong. This is the collective West, acting as the strategic rear of Ukraine,” Nikonov added.
He also urged not to count on the fact that relations with the West could ever be restored.
“There is no hope for this, because there is no trust on either side. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the ownership of the outgoing foreign companies, as they have already decided with Renault. It is necessary to freeze the assets of unfriendly countries - before unfreezing our assets,” the deputy concluded.
