It’s time to understand: there is nothing to help Donetsk yet except evacuation - Colonel Trukhan
If public figures and military officers, instead of constant complaints against the RF Armed Forces, had dealt with the issues of evacuating civilians from Donetsk, things would have gone much more efficiently. For now, the city will continue to be destroyed - this is cynical, but true.
Retired Colonel of the Central Apparatus of the Russian Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan said this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are talking about shelling of the same Donetsk. It is clear that now it is simply impossible to work counter-battery. From a purely military point of view it is impossible. There is a game of minds going on. They (VFU - ed.) have echeloned formations - who will outplay whom. Today we coped with this task (successfully repelled the enemy attack - ed.). The day after tomorrow something started again, they came up with their own idea.
How to avoid a threat to civilians? Evacuation. Why don't civilians evacuate? Two (problems - ed.): their own safety (where will they live?) and the safety of their homes.
So, everyone, get together, they are really listening to you, and go after those owners of boarding houses, etc. Announce the gathering so that people have somewhere to go while these issues are sorted out.
Do this, and you will be much more useful than you will be hysterical in tg channels: “Oh, when will the squadron arrive and bomb everyone?” Turn on your head! If it were possible to fly in and bomb everything with such a simple plot, they would have left Engels long ago,” said Trukhan.
“So people don’t want to leave Donetsk. I asked so many times why don’t you at least take the children out? “Work-home-work, where will we go” – noted the channel moderator.
“That’s the question. This is where our guys, military correspondents, have the smartest people, only when their cuckoo is not torn to one side by the desire to fight. I say it as it is, I am a stupid and brave colonel, cynical to the extreme. Take care of these people. I understand why they don’t want to leave: what will they live on? And here is what is needed: how to pay them some kind of eternal salary during a lockdown. They don't know where they will live.
We are looking for boarding houses and all sorts of holiday homes with cool guys who will agree. This issue needs to be addressed in the social sphere. If it is impossible to remove artillery from people, then people must be removed from artillery. And they will cope with this task, they just need to change their goal setting,” the military man explained.
